The B-669 is a large 108” wide walk-in fume hood. Ideal for a larger workspace where a wider hood is wanted.

Features:

  • The product comes with an internal baffle system that ensures safe and efficient removal of fumes.
  • The entrance to the hood is designed with inward-angled members that minimize turbulence and facilitate smooth air movement.
  • The white Resin-Chem lining of the hood is secured with non-corrosive nylon fasteners for durability and longevity.
  • The hood is equipped with two independently operating full-view vertical sashes framed with black PVC edging.
  • Each sash is made of a 7/32" laminated safety glass panel and features a full-width pull for easy operation.
  • The counterweight of each sash allows for effortless one-finger operation.
  • The hood is fitted with vapor-proof T8 fluorescent light fixtures and bulbs to provide ample illumination.
  • Round stainless steel duct collars ensure a secure and tight fit for your exhaust system.
  • The product comes with pre-punched fixture holes in the posts and inner side of the liner for easy installation.
  • Two gasketed access panels are present on each side of the hood for convenient access and maintenance.
  • Black PVC sash guides help to guide the sashes smoothly and securely.
  • The electrical fixtures are pre-wired to a junction box on top of the hood, including a light fixture and switch, 20A toggle blower switch, and two duplex electrical outlets.
  • The hood also comes pre-wired with an air velocity monitor/alarm for added safety and peace of mind.
  • The double-wall construction of the hood enables the installation of plumbing/electrical service fixtures and concealed routing of piping/wiring.

Optional Items:

  • Manual sash stop at 18" operating height for the top sash is available as an optional feature.
  • Nylon color-coded remote control for pre-set services such as gas, air, nitrogen, and vacuum can be added to the product.
  • A remote controller DI cold water faucet is available as an optional feature.
  • The hood can be equipped with a remote-controlled cold water faucet.
  • The addition of a cupsink is also an option for the hood.
  • A pre-plumbed panel-mounted vacuum breaker can be included as an optional feature.
  • The product can be fitted with LED light fixtures for enhanced illumination.
  • A combination horizontal/vertical sash with aluminum top-hung panels can be added to the hood.
  • The product can be equipped with full-height horizontal sliding sash panels on tracks with painted metal frames.
  • Explosion-proof light fixtures can be included as an optional feature.
  • The addition of explosion-proof electrical receptacle(s) is also an option for the hood.
